Lionel Richie - Dancing on the Ceiling
1985. Second year engineering. Anil, who was not an engineering college student but who loved cricket and really wished me well) was going to Delhi on some work. He asked me what I wanted from Delhi - probably thinking that I might ask for a track suit or some cricket related stuff. By now the default thing for me to ask when anyone asked me what I wanted was 'get me a tape'. Anil does not much listen to English music so he asked me what I wanted exactly. I told him to ask the shop keeper what was new and get me that. So he got me this - Lionel Richie's Dancing on the Ceiling.
The album was not the greatest. 'Dancing on the ceiling' was well known, so was 'Se La' a slow ballad. 'Say you say me' was a hit too and so was 'Night train'. 'Say you say me' was the one I liked most. but all of them are nice...worth a listen.

Good stuff. Dedicated to Anil for actually buying this for me
