Billy Joel Greatest Hit Vol 2
Again there are many great numbers but my favourite will always be 'Uptown Girl' the first song I ever heard of Billy Joel. 'Tell her about it' is another good number. Billy Joel also was political and his 'Goodnight Saigon' was a beautiful ballad about the Vietnam war.

'The Longest Time' was another song that I cannot forget, nor can I forget 'Pressure'.

What were the times like - college, cricket. But this I remember listening most on my Phillips deck - the first major investment - that I bought in Pune much later in 1992. Nothing ever in my life came close to the focus I had in buying that piece - at 10 k - it was a big investment but it gave me unending pleasure, a constant escape from the life around me that seemed to make no sense to me. It served me for a long long time.
Perhaps I will dedicate this song to my good old pal - the Philips mini deck - which I bought in Gokuldas shop on Main street, Pune. It's still there - I saw it the other day!
