ACDC - Greatest Hits
1983. I first heard ACDC's 'Back in Black' when I was in my Intermediate - 1982-84. I borrowed it from Hariprasad who had a few cassettes lying around at his house - not that he listened much. I liked the sound because it was like nothing I heard before. Songs like 'Hells Bells', 'You shook me all night long', 'Back in Black', 'Are you ready' 'Shoot to thrill' got into my mind. When I returned the tape after a couple of days I was an ACDC fan.
Then in 1990, Choudary went to Australia and got me a new tape of ACDC who were still rocking it hard. This time he introduced me to another great hit of theirs 'Thunderstruck'. That's when I decided to buy a double album of ACC with all their greatest hits. I bought this in Pune so we had several hours of ACDC in Pune as well.
ACDC gave me great listening pleasure over the years, never more than on that crazy rock night we had at my place where we blew the roof off with rock music, rum and coke. I am sure we damaged some eardrums that evening. My favorites are all the above mentioned.

Dedicated to Koni aka Choudary who did a mean dance on 'Thunderstruck' that became quite a rage those days. He was such a different person after he returned from Australia - it was the perfect foil for his approach to life. I wish he had stayed back there - he would have done so well with his enterprising spirit. Something that India couldn' harness.
