Rock Superstar

1985. This one I certainly bought in Madras on one of our cricket tours playing junior-level cricket state for Hyderabad. What a collection! I had not heard many of these artistes though I had heard of them and could not wait to listen to them again and again. Prince (When Doves Cry), Michael Jackson and Mick Jagger (State of Shock), Rod Stewart (Bad for you), Bruce Springsteen (Dancing in the dark), Wham (Wake me up before you go go), Robin Gibb (Secret Agent)Chicago (Stay the night), Alan Parsons Project (Prime Time)...whoa.

Vidyuth advised me to go for it though he never listened to much rock or heavy stuff. The tape introduced me to some of the legends whom I heard for the first time and who stayed with me forever after. I remember we visited a store on Mount Road with Rahul and Rajeev Lingam, Vidyuth's cousins who stayed in Madras then.
