Synchronicity - The Police
1984-85!
I wasn't a huge fan of Sting but 'Every breath you take' blew me away at the Grammy Awards in 1984 or so. So when I saw the record at Sangeet Sagar, I quickly asked him to record it for me. I liked some of the numbers.

It was intense with numbers like 'King of Pain' and 'Wrapped around your finger' among others. But these three songs are a good indication of how talented this group was.

Of course I heard their other songs later 'Message in a bottle' and some other hits. Lovely distinct sound.

There was a haunting quality to the songs. Liked it.
Shobha liked 'The Police' and we would listen to these songs once in a while. Otherwise, there was no one to share this with me as far as I remember which was fine by me. I was fine with just me and The Police!
Early years in college, cricket, music, friends, exploring boundaries, happy with little things, hoping and fearing for the future!
