Moody Blues - The Other Side of Life

Year 1986. Engineering college, second year. Life's on a high. Just played Ranji trophy, doing good at engineering - cleared some 16 exams at one go. Life's good.

I have never heard of the group 'Moody Blues' until then but somewhere I had heard the song 'Your Wildest Dreams'. I don't know where or why - I suspect it must have been my friend at Sangeet Sagar who probably played the song to me and I bought it. The other songs in the album were rather forgettable.

'Wildest Dreams' had a nice rhythm. It would make it to some of my assorted tapes - it had a nice sound to it - cultured and nice. I don't remember any of the other songs including the title song 'The Other Side of Life'.

Another Moody Blues song that I heard later was 'Nights in Whaite Satin' which was a bigger hit.

Guess I'll dedicate it to the Sangeet Sagar guy who introduced me to a lot of new music.
